Isaiah Thomas is the next basketball coach of Florida International University. Who is Isaiah Thomas you may ask? He is considered one of the 50 greatest basketball players of all-time, 12 time all-star, 2 time NBA champion, and was elected to the NBA Hall of Fame in 2000. As a coach in the professional level, he has sucked, but I feel he will fit in perfectly in college. Some people have to fine their nitch where they can excel and college basketball will be the place for Thomas. Hiring Thomas as their coach, FIU will attract a tremendous amount of talent from kids who want to play for Thomas at FIU. It will also help other sports. This is one of the biggest moves FIU has done with any of their sports.
