BREAKING NEWS

BREAKING NEWS:

1.       As many as five or six people may have been on board a small plane when it crashed into a home in a residential area in Fort Lauderdale, fire officials said.

2.       Firefighters are working to contain the fire after the plane smashed into a house near the intersection of Andrews Ave. and Commercial Blvd.

3.       "The plane disintegrated when it hit the house," Ft. Lauderdale FD official Matt Little said. "As many as five or six were on board."

4.       The small twin-engine Cessna 421C dropped out of the sky and sliced through a home just minutes after taking off. It's unknown whether anyone was in the home when the crash occurred.

5.       The plane clipped several power lines as it fell, knocking out electricity in the area.

6.       "I heard a big, booming crash," nearby neighbor Vicki Pal said. "I saw fires inside the house."
