Another One Bites The Dust

El Salvador has fallen to the hands of the leftist group FMLN. Mario Funes, the ex-CNN Español and popular TV morning host, has won the presidency with 51% of the vote. Experts have warned that with a FMLN victory the country can turn communist. El Salvador has had very close ties with the U.S. throughout the years and has been the Latin American country that has kept their troops the longest in Iraq. The Obama administration has assured Salvadorans that it would work with any leader elected. President Bush warned in 2004 that a FMLN victory would hurt ties. I guess Obama has no problem talking with a leftist president whose party affiliation is a group the Regan administration battled with in the 1980’s.

Wasteful Spending

An earmark is a congressional provision that directs approved funds to be spent on specific projects. In other words, a congressmen/woman would ask for a specified amount of money for a project that would benefit their constituents. Hence some of the stuff mentioned below. Don’t get me wrong, some of the stuff below is necessary, but not during these tough times. We need only to spend our money on things that will create jobs and stimulate the economy. That’s it !! Below are some highlights of both of the wasteful spending bills passed in the last two months. After you are done reading, please ask yourself how ANY of these earmarks mentioned below will help stimulate the economy.

 

$787 billion stimulus bill

 

-- Up to $198 million in pensions for Filipinos who fought alongside the U.S. during WWII.

-- $450 million NASA - for "Science" and another $200 million for "Aeronautics."

-- $28 billion is being provided to put kids in special education, Head Start and child care and development programs for disadvantaged children.

-- $100 million for the Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Grant Program
-- $200 million to the Leaking Underground Storage Tank Trust Fund Program
-- $300 million for "Violence Against Women Prevention and Prosecution Programs"
-- $900 million for the IRS for the "Limitation on Administrative Expenses"
-- $1 million for the Railroad Retirement Board for administrative costs
-- $2 billion for the Drinking Water State Revolving Act
-- $50 million for Health and Human Services to carry out injury prevention programs
-- $1.1 billion for studies on the effectiveness of different medical treatments

On February 25, 2009, President Obama said while addressing Congress, “Everyone in this chamber—Democrats and Republicans—will have to sacrifice some worthy priorities for which there are no dollars. And that includes me”. Why was the Omnibus bill signed a few days with 8,000 earmarks worth over $7.7 billion? What happened to “sacrifice”? President Obama’s answer is, “I am signing an imperfect omnibus bill because it's necessary for the ongoing functions of government.” I think sometimes he forgets that he is the only person that can demand for something to be done again. Why didn’t he throw the bill back to Congress and say, “Fix it.” Thanks again President Two face !!

Victims Of Socialism

The article below is a “clear picture” of our future when Obama creates and implements universal healthcare. No where that universal healthcare is being used has it worked. The first steps have been taken when Obama set aside $634 billion when he announced is budget. So now that the money has been accounted for in the budget, it is only a matter of time before program “picks up some steam”.

Deadly Rationing: The gatekeeper for Great Britain's national health care system is denying cancer patients drugs that would extend their lives. Why? Because the medication is considered too expensive.

What's a life worth? Apparently not much in Great Britain.

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, the government agency that decides which treatments the National Health Service will pay for, has effectively banned Lapatinib, a drug that was shown to slow the progression of breast cancer, and Sutent, which is the only medicine that can prolong the lives of some stomach cancer patients.

Banning beneficial drugs due to cost is nothing new in Britain. NICE, which has to be one of history's most ironic acronyms, forbade the use of Tarceva, a lung cancer drug proven to extend patients' lives, and Abatacept, even though it's one of the only drugs that has been shown in clinical testing to improve severe rheumatoid arthritis.

Once again, we have to ask: Do we really want to use the British system as the model for a U.S. health care regime?

Promises of an effective, cost-effective health care system operated by the federal government are cruel fabrications. The British system shows that the state makes a mess of health care. So does the Canadian plan, which is plagued with unhealthy and often deadly waiting times for treatment.

The Swedish government system is no better. It also refuses to provide some expensive medication and, inhumanely, refuses to let patients buy the drugs themselves. Why? According to a Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons article, bureaucrats believe doing so "would set a bad precedent and lead to unequal access to medicine."

Like Canadians, Swedes are subjected to long waits. They also have denial-of-care problems that sometimes lead to death.

A reasonable person would see the record of repeated failures in government-run medicine as evidence that such a system is not sustainable. Yet every central planner thinks he or she — his or her immediate group — is smart enough to correct the flaws of socialist programs and therefore has the moral authority to force others to participate in his experiments. It is the same thinking that will move a person to say we are the ones we've been waiting for.

Medicine needs experimentation to progress. But experiments need to stay in the laboratories, not spread to the domain of public policy. Americans are not lab rats. They deserve to be treated with dignity and not shoved aside as expendables to be sacrificed in deference to a sacred totem of the political left.

U.N. - Useless Nations

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said yesterday during a private meeting with lawmakers that the United States was a “deadbeat” donor to the world body. Has this jackass forgotten that the U.S. pays, or should I say WE, taxpayers, pay 22% of the organizations almost $5 billion operating budget. He made the comment because the U.S. has been late making payments to them. Is this the same U.N. that helped the Iraqi dictator? YES

Between 1997 and 2002, the Oil-for-Food program generated over $67 billion in revenues for the Iraqi regime. With little U.N. oversight, the Iraqi dictatorship was able to circumvent and exploit the program. It is suspected of selling Iraqi oil at bargain basement prices that benefited numerous middlemen while overpaying for various imports, which rewarded suppliers. The Iraqis then demanded kickbacks from both groups. The program was officially ended in November 2003.

 

The U.S. General Accounting Office (GAO) estimates that the Saddam Hussein regime generated $10.1 billion in illegal revenues by exploiting the Oil-for-Food program, including $5.7 billion from oil smuggling and $4.4 billion in "illicit surcharges on oil sales and after-sales charges on suppliers.” The scale of the fraud was far more extensive than the GAO had previously estimated.

 

Is this the same U.N. whose peacekeepers have abused people including children in four continents? YES

 

Incidents of sexual exploitation in U.N. peacekeeping missions around the world have become depressingly routine. Abuse by U.N. peacekeepers has taken place in the Congo, Sierra Leone, Burundi, Guinea, Liberia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Haiti, and Cambodia—in four continents altogether. Congress and the Bush Administration must act to help ensure that those responsible are brought to justice and that future abuses are prevented.

 

Are we the real “deadbeats”? I wish we, the United States, would stop funding this horrible organization because all it provides is fraud and scandal. That’s why I call them the Useless Nations.

How much has been lost ??

How bad is the economic crisis ?? Blackstone Group LP, private equity company, says that up to 45% of the world’s wealth has been destroyed by the global crisis. The damage has been during a year and a half. I hope for the sake of our economy, the Obama administration steps up the effort to bring back the economy to where it is once was when the stock market topped 14,000. Does anyone remember that ?? It seems so far away, but it was only October 12, 2007 when the Dow closed at 14,093 points. Since then, the Dow has dropped almost 49% (6,865.05 points). They have their work cut out for them.

Japan and North Korea

Something to watch as it progresses in the coming weeks. North Korea is planning on sending into orbit a satellite via a rocket April 4 – 8. The problem is that North Korea has threatened that any country that shoots down the rocket carrying the satellite would mean an “act of war”. Japan has expressed concerns for the rocket launch because it will fly over their land. It feels that the rocket posses a threat to them. Japan feels that they are entitled to protect themselves and might employ their missile defense system they have in place.

Sheriff Arpaio Investigated

I was going to paraphrase the article, but I rather just paste the important parts so you can get the “jist of it”. The article is very important because it just proves how specific members of Congress want to give illegal aliens the same rights allotted to a U.S. citizen. The same thing will happen with all the terrorists that were in Guantanamo.

 

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has launched an investigation of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office in Arizona following requests by congressional Democrats and allegations by liberal activists that the department has violated the civil rights of illegal aliens.

The investigation focuses on Sheriff Joe Arpaio and dozens of officers under his command who were trained through the Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Agreements of Cooperation in Communities to Enhance Safety and Security (ACCESS), which partners federal and local law enforcement to enforce immigration laws. (The Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement division is known popularly as ICE.)

In a letter dated March 10, 2009, Loretta Smith, acting assistant attorney general at the DOJ, detailed what her department would be investigating: "The investigation will focus on alleged patterns or practices of discriminatory police practices and unconstitutional searches and seizures conducted by the MCSO, and on allegations of national origin discrimination, including failure to provide meaningful access to MCSO services for limited English proficient (LEP) individuals. In conducting the investigation, we will seek to determine whether there are violations of the above laws by the MCSO," the letter says.

Sheriff Arpaio's efforts to enforce immigration laws have been the focus of previous criticism, but Arpaio has defended his department and the results his ICE-trained officers have netted.
Concerning the DOJ’s investigation, Arpaio told CNSNews.com:  “I will not back down. What I am doing is upholding the laws of the state of Arizona, and I will not be persuaded to turn my back on my oath of office as sheriff of this county.”

In an August 2008 press release, Arpaio's office detailed those results. "While the Sheriff’s illegal immigration and human smuggling operations conducted on the streets and roadways here have netted nearly 2,300 arrests, another very successful effort to locate illegal aliens has been quietly happening inside Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s jails," the release said.

It continues: "Despite the growing criticism of the Sheriff’s illegal immigration fight by some valley politicians and activists, Sheriff Arpaio says 60 detention officers trained by ICE officials have conducted over 106,000 interviews and investigations of inmates booked into jail since April of 2007.

"In those 18 months, 16,000 inmates were determined to be illegal aliens. Either they have already been deported or will be deported after being tried and/or serving their sentences for crimes committed in the valley. The work being done be Arpaio’s detention staff is a likely contributor to the recent reduction in crime in the valley,” the press release added. "That number of 16,000 represents a full one-third (1/3) of all inmates in the United States who have had holds placed on them after being identified by jail or prison officials as illegal aliens."

The press release goes on to say that 20 percent of inmates in the Maricopa County Jail are illegal aliens and that of those, 2,000 illegal aliens - 70 percent - were arrested for felony crimes.

Those felony crimes committed included the following: forgery, 12 percent; kidnapping, 10 percent; aggravated assault, 7 percent; driving under the influence, 7 percent; drug charges, 27 percent; robbery, 3 percent; murder, 3 percent; and theft, 4 percent. The Democratic Congress members have also asked Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to launch an investigation into the training provided by ICE.

 

What is wrong with ICE trained officials stopping illegal immigrants from crossing the border? Nothing. What is wrong with arresting an illegal immigrant, having them serve the time for their crime, and then deporting them? Nothing. That is what the Sheriff Arpaio is doing in Arizona. The article doesn’t mention this, but I wonder what did those opposed suggest we did with the illegal immigrants who were stopped at the border and the ones in jail for a crime they committed?

FBI Investigates Obama Appointee

Vivek Kundra was named by President Obama as the federal government’s chief information officer on March 5. Yesterday, FBI agents served a search warrant at the office of D.C.’s Chief Technology Officer, which is the position Kundra previously held before joining the administration. His last day in office was March 4. The FBI says they were there as part of an ongoing criminal investigation. So now we have tax cheats and someone being investigated by the FBI in Obama’s administration. That’s not counting the countless others that withdrew their name from consideration due to their own “issues”. 10 People Die in Shooting in Alabama

Michael McLendon killed 10 people including himself yesterday in a two county shooting spree in Alabama. Among the 10 killed, 5 were members of his family. People that knew him would have never thought he was capable of this and it was not in him to do this. Authorities do not have a motive for the killings, but people who know him say that he just “snapped”. This is a very sad story.

Congress may soften the embargo on communist Cuba soon. But with an authentic ally like Colombia still shut out of a free trade agreement that Congress promised, it sends a hideous message. The $410 billion Omnibus spending bill, now working its way through the Senate for a second time, contains a buried provision to ease U.S. economic sanctions on the island. Cuban-Americans will be given special travel privileges to visit relatives on Cuba, and be able to send unlimited remittances.

Restrictions on food and medicine sales will be dropped, and goods sent to Cuba may even qualify for U.S. trade credits. The Castro dictatorship, which controls all economic activity in Cuba, would no doubt benefit handsomely from this. Fees skimmed from remittances would beef up state coffers by the billions, while trade credits will let Cuba buy our goods with our money. Spies, too, will have a field day with freer travel.

And in return for all this, Castro gives . . . nothing.

Man Arrested For Targeting Obama

The parade has started and the grand marshal is Saad Hussein of Egyptian decent. He was able to ship through the U.S. mail system a letter that was infected with HIV. It was only the second time ever that HIV –infected blood has been shipped through the U.S. mail system. A letter was received at the Illinois government office of President Obama; I guess he didn’t get the message that he became president. The envelope contained a letter with reddish stains (HIV-infected blood) and an admission ticket for the Grant Park party Obama did on election night. He suffers from mental illness and also told FBI agents that he is “very sick with HIV” and cut his finger so he could bleed on the letter. I believe there will be more to come, the question is: How many will we know about?

Do you know where $900 million of your money is going?

Do you know what $900 million of your money is being used for? The U.S. plans to offer more than $900 million to help rebuild Gaza after Israel’s invasion. Supposedly, the Obama administration made a promise to make Arab-Israeli peacemaking a priority. The problem is that the Gaza is controlled by Hamas, but the U.S. says that the money will be distributed through the U.N., as I call it “the Useless Nations”. Our new and wonderful Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, will attend in Egypt the March 2 Donors Conference to help get other countries to donate. It is unbelievable that $900 million of our money is going to rebuild the Gaza that was destroyed because Israel fired defended her self when Hamas fired rockets into Israel from the Gaza. We need the money on our end not thousands of miles away helping to rebuild the Gaza. This just proves that $900 million is only a number to Washington and when they need to ask for more money all they have to do is wave heir wand.

Travel Restriction To Cuba Will Be Eased

As mentioned a few weeks ago, the travel restrictions to Cuba will be loosened in the coming weeks. The bill is scheduled to override the restrictions imposed by President Bush in 2004 that limited family visits to once every three years for no more than 14 days and spending was capped at $50 per day. With the proposed new law, travel to Cuba will be permitted once a year with a cap of $150 per day for an unlimited duration of stay. The legislation will also change the definition of family to include first cousins, aunts and uncles. More money for castro and Co. Thank you Obama.

 

P.S. – Cuba will ask for the release of the “Los Cinco Espias” and the U.S. government will give in.

Dow Continues To Tumble

The Dow closed at the October 1997 level today - 7,114 points. This is just another reminder of how bad the economy is doing. I believe that in another 2 days, we will be seeing the Dow trading below 6,000 points of the first time since April 1997.

Pay Your Own Bills First Mr. President

Believe it or not, the Democratic National Committee has not paid the city of Chicago for its massive party at Grant Park the night Obama was elected President. In such dire economic times, the President of the United States has not paid the $1.74 million bill for the grand party. The Mayor of Chicago has said that he is confident the money will be paid because the campaign raised a lot of money and there was no shortage of money. There is no reason that would prevent the Obama campaign from paying back all of the expenses incurred on that historic night.

 

Doesn’t President Obama understand that the almost $2 million owed to the city of Chicago is a very large sum of money that can pay bills and salaries? So I guess the President is applying the same method many have to their housing crisis: spend it now, promise to pay it back, and then walk away from it. As I read somewhere, that kind of economics is called Dead-beat-onomics.

Caylee Anthony Clues

Investigators have said that evidence found in the woods where Caylee Anthony was found last December matches some items found in the house where she lived with her mother and grandparents. This is according to court documents release today. The same types of laundry bag, duct tape and plastic bag found in the woods were found in the house. The skull had duct tape similar to the one found in the house along with the laundry bag and plastic bag. Jose Baez, Casey Anthony’s lawyer, said that the brand of duct tape found in the Anthony household was the most widely sold in the U.S. Also, found in the house were heart-shaped stickers. This is key because a heart-shaped sticker was found on the duct tape that covered Caylee’s mouth. The comment was given whether the sticker on the duct tape was the same as the one found at the residence. More to follow.

Obama Signs Stimulus Bill

President Barrack Obama has signed the $787 billion "stimulus" bill into law. Let's see how much stimulation the bill will create.

One question for the President: Mr. Obama if our economy faced "irreversible catastrophic" economic damage without the passing of the bill, then why did you not sign it as early as last Friday/Saturday? I would imagine the earlier this bill becomes law the faster the money starts to flow through our economy. Was your President's Day weekend really that filled with activities that the bill could not be singed sooner?

I could imagine the headlines if Bush would have taken 3-4 days to sign this bill because he was enjoying his holiday weekend. "Bush Sets Priorities: Spends holiday weekend at ranch while millions struggle to stay afloat."

Alex Rodriguez Admits to Steroid Use

Over the weekend, Sports Illustrated said that Alex Rodriguez had tested positive in 2003 for steroid use. Rodriguez had no comment throughout the weekend. Today, he admitted to ESPN that he did use performance enhancing drugs during the 2001-2003 seasons. It is sad, but another great slugger and arguably one of the greatest baseball players of our time has tainted his legacy.

Although, Rodriguez benefited from the performance enhancing drugs, he will enter the Hall of Fame on his first ballot. He now is part of the big name group of cheaters that includes Rafael Palmiero, Sammy Sosa, Mark McGwire, Barry Bonds, and Roger Clemens, but he is still different than all of them and stands to lose more than any of the others.

What’s the difference between ARod and the others? He admitted to doing steroids. Palmiero, Sosa, and McGwire all lied in Congress about their use of performance enhancing drugs. No one likes to be lied to and when the truth comes out, like in Palmiero’s case, it only adds salt to the wound already created. Bonds is facing perjury charges for lying in court in relation to his steroid use. And Clemens is not too far behind.

Why does Rodriguez stand to lose more than the others? Alex Rodriguez is still in his prime and has many more years left in MLB. He took the chance and admitted to using drugs instead of lying about it. All of the others mentioned above were at the tail end of their careers when their own steroid scandals broke out. I don’t agree with what ARod did, but I admire his honestly even though he stands to lose a lot.

Supreme Court Justice Has Surgery

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had surgery today for pancreatic cancer.

President for LIFE ??

Earlier this month Rep. Jose Serrano introduced bill H.J. Res 5. Why is it important ?? This bill would repeal the 22nd Amendment which prohibits the President from being elected to more than two terms in office. In the past, this measure has been attempted by Rep. Serrano, but to no resolution. This time it is different because of the "hype" behind President Obama.

Rep. Serrano is a leftist politician who has praised fidel castro in the past. This kind of measure is not unexpected from a person who sympathizes with communist governments. Here is an excerpt from a statement Rep. Serrano issued when catsro handed over power to his brother:

"Today’s news that Fidel Castro has retired from leading his nation proves yet again that this important figure defies the attempts of his critics to paint him simply as a power-hungry authoritarian. Pablito FG Concert

Paublito FG is a Cuban singer who has come to Miami to sing again amid a lot of protests before his concerts because he said the following, "Todo se lo debo a fidel. El que no crea en fidel tiene que estar loco. Las mujeres en Miami son unas chancleteras." This communist sung in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Cuban revolution. Manolin "El Medico de la Salsa" has come out to Pablito's defense by saying that it is normal to do that in Cuba. During the Alexis Valdes show Manolin was aked if he would go to Cuba and sing if Paublito would get him the opportunity. He said, YES". I have never like Manolin ever since he got here. A lot of these artists come here for the opportunity to expand their careers andnot for the nessecity to live a better life. President Obama Lifts Overseas Ban

BREAKING NEWS: Obama ends funding ban for abortion groups abroad

BEHIND THE NEWS: The policy, known as the Mexico City Policy, was created in 1984 by President Ronald Regan. The policy requires non-governmental organizations (NGO) to "agree as a condition of their receipt of [U.S.] federal funds" that they will "neither perform nor actively promote abortion as a method of family planning in other nations". The policy has exceptions for abortions done in response to rape, incest, or life-threatening conditions. The organizations were required to meet specified conditions in order to be eligible for federal funding from the United States, and, as a result, several international abortion agencies no longer received a portion of their funds from this source. The ban was in place between 1984 – 1993 (Regan and Bush Sr.) then lifted while Clinton was in office, and then finally reinstituted during the presidency of Bush Jr.

Here is another description of the Mexico City Policy:

The policy bans U.S. taxpayer money, usually in the form of U.S. Agency for International Development funds, from going to international family planning groups that either offer abortions or provide information, counseling or referrals about abortion. It is also known as the "global gag rule," because it prohibits taxpayer funding for groups that even talk about abortion if there is an unplanned pregnancy.

What all of this means is that our tax money will go to these NGO (international) without having to meet the specifications mentioned above. Our money is going to fund abortions around the world. I hope everyone has their eyes open and is realizing the world we will be living in for the next 4 years. It is ridiculous that are money is going to such a horrific cause while companies are asking the government to bailout them out.

castro Writes Reflection

After taking a break for almost two months, castro has written two reflctions in two days. The one he "wrote" today offers an intersting point of view that you can't help to continue to connect the dots to the "idea" that his death will be announced in the coming weeks. A few days ago I mentioned that his death is imminent after receiving information through a good source.

All of this can be traced all the way back to when chavez sais that castro would not been seen in public anymore. After that news was made public that his health has taken a turn for the worse. Yesterday the president of Argentina said she met with castro for 40 minutes, but no pictures where taken. And today he pens a reflection stating his health is failing and that four years from now he doesn't expect to be following current events. "I have had the rare privilege of observing events over such a long time. I receive information and meditate calmly on those events," he wrote. "I expect I won't enjoy that privilege in four years, when Obama's first presidential term has ended."

I believe all of this is a precursor for the long awaited moment. The Cuban government are experts at the art of manipulation and they are getting people metally prepared. If castro's faculties were to be at 100% there is no way in hell that he would let his people lower him to these standards. He is not in control and hsi people are getting everyone ready.

Timothy F. Geithner - Future Treasury Secretary

Timothy Geithner, former President of the Federal Reserve of New York, is well on his way to become our next Treasury Secretary after todays Senate Panel recommendation. To me when I hear the title Treasury Secretary, I connect it to signing our money. So it led me to think, "What does this person do within our government other than signing our currency?"

Below are a few excerpts of the job description:

"The Secretary of the Treasury is the principal economic advisor to the President and plays a critical role in policy-making by bringing an economic and government financial policy perspective to issues facing the government. The Secretary is responsible for formulating and recommending domestic and international financial, economic, and tax policy, participating in the formulation of broad fiscal policies that have general significance for the economy, and managing the public debt."

It seems like the job requires a lot more than just "signing" money. Geithner is more than qualified for the job, but why would Obama continue to support a tax evading future Treasury Secretary. Geithner did not pay $34,000 in taxes between 2001 - 2004. He says it was an honest mistake and Obama says, "OK." This has to be a joke, right? The guy who is evemtually going to run our "money department" did not pay his taxes four years straight and it's an honest mistake? I would buy that if he missed one year and then corrected it. How can this be justified as an honest mistake when his mentors are two former Secretaries of Treasury (Lawrence Summers and Robert Rubin).

A lot rides on this job considering the economic situation we are going through. As mentioned in the job description, the Secretary "is the principal economic advisor to the President....". Let's hope for the best !!

President Obama Signs Another Order

President Barack Obama has just signed the order to close Guantanamo Bay Detention Center within a year. Where will these animals be held? I have not read of a definitive location announced by the administration, but I will imagine that something should be in the works. What really troubles me is the fact that these anti-America Jihadist beasts might end up somewhere in the U.S. Do we really want these animals caged in our country? The same country they want to obliterate. NO !! I hope there is a solid plan in the works for these people.

Also, Obama has signed orders reviewing military trials of terror suspects AND banning the harshest interrogation methods. I am pretty sure that a lot of information has been obtained from these interrogations and some attacks have been thwarted in the process. The interrogations have to follow the Army Field Manual. From what I have read somewhere else it is ridiculous how the interrogation needs to be conducted. For example: blasting music to try to break an individual is a big NO-NO. These individuals are trained to with stand interrogations, so why are we going to interrogate them as they were trained? I am not saying that harsh interrogation methods have to be used within the first 5 minutes, but after a few hours that person is not breaking, another interrogation method is needed. Especially, when it becomes a national security issue and the lives of 300+ million people are in jeopardy; I, Enrique Valle, tell the CIA interrogators “Do what ever it takes to keep me and my family safe.” I may be harsh to think that way, but when it’s me or them, I am picking them.

I gather more information (location for terrorists, what will happen to them, etc.) and convene it to all of you.

Miami Catholic School To Close

Effective at the end of the school year, 6 Catholic schools will close its doors due to the lack of funds provided by the Archdiocese. The Archdiocese of Miami subsidizes about 15 schools each year and due to the economic situation we all face, the Archdiocese has lost millions in the stock market. As a result, we have these closing looming over the 6 schools below. The closing will effect 889 students of the over 23,000 enrolled in Catholic schools throughout Miami. The schools closing are:

1. Corpus Christi – Allapattah
2. Our Lady of Devine Providence – Sweetwater
3. Scared Heart – Homestead
4. St. Francis Xavier – Overtown
5. St. Clement – Wilton Manors
6. St. Stephen – Miramar

I was told that Father Jose Luis Menendez has been diligently working to convert Corpus Christi into a charter school and drop the words “Catholic School” from the name so the kids would not have to leave. I hope this comes to fruition very soon.

Desahogo

What bothers me tremendously about the events that transpired on Tuesday is that fact that the 2 million+ people who were cheering "OBAMA, OBAMA, OBAMA" & "YES WE CAN" are embracing "change". All of a sudden they want to volunteer in their communitites and feel connected with the President like none other. They are willing to walk on their pinkies for 10 miles if Obama told them to do so. These are the same people that compared George Bush to Hitler accusing him of murder. They are the same people who taunted the outgoing President by singing, " NAW NAW NAW NAW, HEY HEY HEY, GOODBYE" while he sat on stage and listened to the new President take jabs at him. It was classless and disgusting behavior from the crowd towards their former President who was very classy while all of this took place. These are the same people who will "bend over backwards" for Obama and are born-again "patriotic". Good luck Mr. President because these people will turn on you as fast as a "New York minute". AWWWWWWWWWWW, I feel better now.

Inauguration Makes History

According to Nielsen Media Research, 37.8 million TV viewers watched the inauguration coverage making it the largest audience in decades. Comparing it to other inauguration audiences it was 27% higher than Bill Clinton's in 1993 and 30% larger than George Bush's in 2001. Ronald Reagan's first inauguration in 1981 drew a much larger audience with 41.8 million. These numbers do not take into account all of the viewers watching online. It seems that this was an event a lot of people were not going to miss.

Obama Retakes Oath

About two hours ago, President Obama repeated his oath considering it did not go as planned yesterday. Chief Justice John Roberts delivered the oath to Obama in the White House Map Room at 7:35pm. The oath was done again"just in case" there were any doubters about Obama being President even though he became President at noon without an oath.

Jimmy Ryce's Mother Passes Away

BREAKING NEWS: Claudine Ryce, the mother of Jimmy Ryce, passed away today. No information was given about her death.

BEHIND THE NEWS: Jimmy Ryce was abducted, raped, and killed by Juan Carlos Chavez on 9/11/1995. After a 3 month search for Ryce, authorities found his backpack on a farm in the Redlands owned by Chavez, who then led police to the body. He was found guilty in September 1998.

Gitmo To Halt Terrorist Trials

BREAKING NEWS: President Obama has drafted an executive order to halt all trials at the Guantanamo Detention Center for 120 days with the intention to close the detention center within a year.

BEHIND THE NEWS: This means that terrorists like Ramzi Binalshibh and Khalid Sheikh Mohammed will not be receiving their punishments anytime soon for their roles in the 9/11 attacks. Binalshibh was suspected to be involved in the USS Cole attack in 2000 while Mohammed is said to be the 9/11 mastermind. Interestingly, neither of the them want the trials to be postponed because they want to be found guilty and die as martyrs. It is not known yet what will be done with the 250+ terrorist detainees.

I have received new information from my very reliable source, but please take this information with “a grain a salt”. My source says that he believes that the news will be made on a Friday, not today. Friday would be ideal since the country will be paralyzed as a result of the weekend. Also, it will be made to look like castro asked his physicians to pull the plug since he is not improving, but that won’t be true. There are no troop movements at the moment or police activity that would typically prelude an announcement of this magnitude. Emails and phone are working fine. It seems like we, Cubans, are being portrayed again as animals by the MSM withput any compassion for what we have suffered for the last 50 years. We can't expect them to understand what we have endured even though it is no secret what has gone on in our Cuba all of these years.

BREAKING NEWS

FAA says that everyone, including 5 crew members, have made it off the plane safely. Hats off to the pilot for saving everyone’s life because the plane had been in the air for about 4 minutes when it started to have problems. For anyone who has been on a plane, you know how far it can travel in 4 minutes and to land safely is a miracle.

P.S. – I hope everyone understands why I take a couple of Zannax’s when I fly. A flock of geese’s hitting a plane and making it crash was the last thing on my mind when the plane is flying. Thanks. I can now add another fear to my list when I fly.

fidel castro In Coma ??

Heavy rumors have been circulating that the brutal dictator is in a coma. Nothing brings more joy to me than to hear that the murderer that has tortured Cuba for 50 years continues to suffer. There are several reports that castro's inner circle is waiting to "pull the plug" until Barrack Obama is inaugurated. This is done with the intention of not wanting to overshadow Obama's inauguration because Cuba wants to have a very good relationship with the incoming administration. Also, my source has mentioned that the funeral might take place in the province of Santiago because castro has a lot of adoration there. A possible date for the announcement is Jose Marti's birthday with the expectation of ruining the great Cuban patriots birthday. The next 2 weeks will be very interesting !! Carol Browner

Who is she ?? That is a proper question to ask yourself, but you should care who she is. Carol Browner is President-elect Barrack Obama's choice as the leading expert on the enviroment. She was picked to give her advise and lend her expertise to the new administration. You are probably thinking, "Ok, big deal."

The problem is that until last summer Browner was a member of a socialist organization. Coincidently, her information has been wiped off the Socialist International website which is an umbrella group for 170 soical democratic, socialist and labor parties in 55 countries.

So are we supposed to believe that Obama's administration had no prior knowledge of this ?? Give me a break. I already connected Obama to communist Frank Marshall Davis in an earlier post.

Trains Collide

Two trains have collided in Minnesota resulting in some of the cars of the train to fall into the Mississippi. Residents in the area have evacuated because of a propane leak. More information to follow.

Adam Walsh Case to be Closed

The case involving Adam Walsh, America’s Most Wanted star John Walsh’s son, will be closed today in Hollywood, FL. After 27 years open, police are expected to name infamous serial killer Ottis Toole as the killer of the 6 year old. Walsh disappeared in a Sears store in 1981 in Hollywood. His decapitated head was found in Vero Beach, but his body was not. Toole confessed to killing the 6 year old twice, but also recanted his story twice. Toole dies in 1996 in jail. As a result of his sons’ disappearance and murder, John Walsh started America’s Most Wanted to help track and take criminals off the streets worldwide. His show has helped take down nearly 1,000 criminals.

Best High Schools

Turner Tech made the list of Best High Schools in the nation. There were 48 schools that made the list in the state of, but only 9 were from Miami-Dade County. Part 1: Barrack Hussein Obama and Frank Davis Marshall

This is the first part of a multi-volume series of what was not reported by the media about Barrack Hussien Obama, his connections, and his past.

You might be asking yourself, "Who is Frank Davis Marshall?" To make you feel better, I had no idea who he was until I started investigating his connection with the 45th President of the Untied States of America. The connection between the two wll put into perspective the kind of person I hope DOES NOT show up to run our country.

Frank Davis Marshall was a journalist and a poet during the 1930's - 1960's. He wrote for several papers who were fronts for the communist party. Marshall was a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).

Obama's past shows that during 1971-1979, he was in Hawaii after returning from Jarkata where he attended school. During these years he developed a relationship (childhood mentor) with Marshall as he listened to his poetry and "getting advice on his career path." Some say Obama was as close as "a son" to Davis. Obama during those years was 9-18 years of age. It is understandable that a kid that age would be getting advice from someone with the years of experience Marshall had. What scares me he most is that all of what Marshall fed to him has carried throughout his life because to this day there is still mention of socialistic ideology embedded in him.

In the book "Dreams From My Father, Obama refers to Marshall as only "Frank". Coincidence? I don't think so because Obama knows who Marshall was and he knew that if he referred to him by his name, that would cause a stir.He was covering his tracks for this persise moment. Obama mentions in his book that "a poet named Frank" would visit him in Hawaii. They read poetry and he, Marshall, was full of "hard-earned knowledge" and advice. He also mentions that Frank gave him advice before leaving to Occidental College in 1979 when Obama was 18 years old.

I can only imagine the kind of information and ideology that Marshall has cemented in Obama's head throughout the years they were together. Obama saw Marshall as a mentor since he did not have a father figure to look up to. Marshall took Obama under his wing and fed him his communist ideology for 8 years while in Hawaii. Obama has admitted in the past that he attended socialist conferences and read Marxist liturature while in college. Everyone has failed to recognize this and the media did not report this in the months preceding the election.

Think of a person you that was a "mentor" or someone you looked up to in your early years. Now think of the things this person has instilled in you throughout those years. You would be surprised to notice that a lot of the things you learned for this "mentor" are being used in your daily life in some way. If you had this outcome, where do you think Obama stands with what Marshall "pluggged" in his head for those 8 years?

We have an enigma (a person of puzzling or contradictory character) for a President.

The armored truck employee shot during this morning’s shooting at Dadeland Mall has passed away. Police are still looking for two suspects in connection to the murder and robbery.

Dadeland Mall Shooting

South Florida mall injures 2

SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Miami-Dade Police are investigating a shooting at a South Florida mall that wounded one man and injured another during an alleged armored truck robbery.

Police responded to Dadeland mall around 11 Monday morning after reports of shots fired inside the mall. According to witnesses, two men approached an armored truck guard inside the Limited with a silver handgun. Witnesses said a struggle ensued and shots were fired.

A man was shot in the stomach area and the victim is believed to be the armored truck guard. Paramedics airlifted him to Jackson Memorial Hospital in unknown condition. The other victim injured during the shooting was treated on the scene.

Witnesses said the two men allegedly fled the scene through the mall. One of the men was wearing all black and the other man was wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. Also seen fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed was a 2000 white 4-door Lincoln.

Officials said Dadeland mall is still opened except for the crime scene which is near the Limited and Express Stores.

The suspects were spotted running through the mall. Not known is if they fled on foot or in a car.

A BOLO was just issued for Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

A money bag was taken from a Wells Fargo truck.

Obama Picks Clinton For Secretary Of State

BEHIND THE NEWS: As reported last week on Enrique6 News, Senator Hillary Clinton was named by Obama as his Secretary of State. For this to occur, President Clinton had to make some adjustments to his post-presidency life including changes to his Global Fund Organization. He must disclose all the donations the organization has received since 1997. The organization needs to be very transparent (very visible). Obama’s cabinet keeps on getting worse. Like I said in an earlier post, “Buckle Up !! This is going to be a bumpy 4 year ride.”

Terror Attack in India

BREAKING NEWS: 25 people have been killed in Mumbai due to a coordinated terror attack.

BEHIND THE NEWS: At least two gun fights are ongoing with suspected terrorists armed with guns and grenades at two 5-star hotels. Multiple locations have been targeted and police are trying to access the damage and take control of the situation. Also, hostages have been taken, including foreigners and diplomats. A café, hotel, train station, a gas station are among the sites terrorist have hit. Stay tuned to this developing story.

Al-Qaeda Plans Attack?

Federal authorities are issuing a warning to subway travelers in New York City due to some information they received regarding Al-Qaeda planning subway attacks during the holiday season. Though the information is not confirmed, it did come through a channel that has provided reliable information in the past. The report says that the attacks would be in the form of suicide bomber or explosives. Additional police officers will be deployed throughout the holiday season throughout for the safety of the civilians Stay tuned for more information.
